Apparently, though hard to believe, there is a doll that was recently available to purchase that came with a religious agenda…
Take a look at this..
Honestly, I am not so sure that is what the doll is actually saying, however, what is the doll actually saying?!?!
How did it get on the shelves in the first place? As far as the religion being publicized in places that might not necessarily take kindly to it, I don’t see a problem with that. Everybody has the right to choose what they believe in and if they really have a strong belief in something, nothing anyone says or does can influence that belief.
But this is a different story. If this doll is in fact saying “Islam is the light”, I might have a problem if I wasn’t warned before hand that the doll has an agenda.
My beef is with Fisher Price. How did Fisher Price allow those dolls on the shelves and explain it away by claiming they have a “malfunction” – that is the question I would like to know the answer to. It seems a little suspicious that no one on this news report had another explanation of the sounds the doll was making. I would think that Fisher Price has got some explaining to do…but that is just my opinion.
What do you think?
